That’s some bad luck! Only happened to me once, but that was with a vendor that completely went under a few months later.
Omnitype and NK have never botched any of my many orders, luckily.

Yea I think something cast an anti-keyboard hex on you, because that is some crazy bad luck.
GMK. I’m sure it was GMK. Dammit, GMK!
I would say you’re having some unusual bad luck, but I think we all have our share of oopsies.
I’m starting to understand why people in this hobby accumulate so many things. It’s not intentional.
I will say that to myself the next time I’ll do a purchase
M0lly was on my back porch yesterday as I arrived home from work. I picked her up expecting a fairly lightweight poly case board and was surprised how heavy the package was.
Excited to get started on this one!!
Profile - Rob27shred - KeebTalk has graciously offered to solder the PCB. Many, many thanks to you again sir!!
I have a hot pink aluminum one from 2020 - it was my very first build. The thing weighs a ton; it’s the only board I’ve ever been worried about a shelf being able to support.
I should have pulled the trigger when I saw it, but it was sold out by the time I got home that night haha. You’ll have to show us when you’ve built it!
oh wait i just realized, does the Molly plate have ALPS support? Kinda looks like it
Good question. I honestly have never used an ALPS board and am not sure what the difference is.
It might not, but cuz it looked like the switch cutouts were also wider horizontally I thought maybe it did. Usually ALPS cutouts are longer horizontally.
EDIT: I just looked it up and it does have ALPS support.
Looked closer at my kit. PCB has Alps support but plate does not. The plate is MX cutouts with slots for top removal. Quick search for an Alps plate file didn’t turn up anything, but it may exist.
Ahhh gotcha, thanks for the clarification.
@Wooden-Toilet The designer BlindAssassin111 posted the Alps plate file on his GitHub.
Ahh makes sense.
Edit: Also pretty impressed with the extras they toss you with the Neo boards. It came with a decent braided USB cable, a keycap/switch puller, & a set of stabs! Not that I’ll use any of them myself, but definitely a nice addition especially for those who just getting into the hobby!
Oh nice you also got the Red Kernel, I really love how bright the red kernel accent is.
Honestly, I didn’t have any issues with the stabs they included. They took me a little longer to tune, but after that, they have been pretty good.
Yeah I actually picked everything around the red kernel! I also thought it was a really nice bright red. Which lead me to going the Korean colors route (silver & red!).
