WS Flux HE Switch Review

Hey all,

With the last month of chaos out of the way, I should finally be back on track for a normal posting schedule… for now. What better way to celebrate it than with a review of a new Hall Effect switch from a new manufacturer that also has an entirely new design and stem molds. Yes, seriously, all of those things. This week’s review takes a deep dive on the new WS Flux HE linears and you’ll definitely want to see how these things look…

Interesting switch. I enjoyed the review!

If we could get the smoothness of these with the low stem wobble of roller switches it would be heaven. Looks like with the current technology and engineering ideas we have to pick one of the two. Which makes sense because low wobble comes at the cost of tighter tolerances which means higher friction. I wonder if there is still a solution to be found.

I have to scratch my head a bit when I see their discussion of the octagonal design to help with wobble. If that solves the issue, why not just go fully spherical like Kailh?

Now I have to be angry because I’ve refrained from buying switches for months now and here you tempt me to try out really expensive ones
