Finally had a chance to assemble my Vega 65 last night!
This is what I’d consider my first “high end” keyboard but I was concerned that it would be anti-climatic considering the 18 months I needed to wait for it. Fortunately, it’s every bit as nice as I was hoping it would be! From right out of the box, the e-white finish was flawless and the PCB is honestly a work of art on its own:
In a happy accident, the switches I had planned to use in this board (Harimau tactiles) turned out to match the colors of the case, the PCB, and the traces perfectly (white, dark gray, orange):
Finally, I decided to combine the dark blue alphas and mods of MT3 Dasher and Dancer to keep a clean and classic look for the overall board:
