Black Lotus with 58g CK Slow Spring in Fjell. Still satisfyingly poppy.
I’m at work right now, so, in this board I’m using lubed and filmed NK Cream Dream switches but I spring swapped them with 22mm triple stage 63.5g WS springs.
Have you ever had issues with any HMX switch?, probably I had bad luck: earlier this year I bought 80 HMX Swift switches, and around 12 out of those had tighter top housings that won’t let the stem to freely move, besides, they were considerably over-lubed so they had a “bubbly” sound when typing.
IBM buckling sleeves! I’m currently in the middle of restoring this Unicomp-branded Model M4 I got the other day, actively using it between work to make sure it’s all working.
I like the random RTX 4080 box in the background.
Ah. Yeah that’s disappointing. I thought you found some magical vendor that still had them in stock
Alas. For a minute there it seemed like Haimu switches were going to flood the market, but not all of the ones I liked ended up being as prolific as I’d like. Morandis are everywhere and that’s nice - but I want my Bettys!
Silver lining: I’m pretty sure I saw that EMT and Betty V3s are in the works - fingers crossed that they’re incremental / objective improvements from the V2s…
There might also just be another Haimu switch that’s similar - it seems like they have a vanishingly small variety of tactile bump profiles for how many different switches they’ve made - but I haven’t identified it yet if it’s out there.
Fingers crossed indeed!
Currently using N2Os in a plateless Jris65 build. Been meaning to rebuild this at some point to try a different switch in the plateless configuration, but haven’t gotten around to it yet.
Personally I have not had any issues with the newer HMX switches, however I did hear about similar issues in the early releases.
How smooth are they?

MMD V3 Princess, 48g tactile in a Cidoo ABM066. The tactility is as strong as a panda and loud, loud, loud. I love them, but definitely a switch for the solitary. I’m also a person who has had no problem working in a room full of dot matrix printers. When I’m focussed, I could have a conversation and not know what I agreed to do.

Boba U4T in a Mode Sonnet, swapped with TL 53g triple stage springs. The stock switch was too heavy for me. With the 53g spring, I’m very pleased, and in the Sonnet, well what’s not to like.
Today? Good old Gateron yellow. I believe these are Gateron Pro 3 yellows (milky)
Lubed with 205g0 and filmed. Top mounted 7° board with DSS caps. It’s absolutely my favorite setup in the entire collection as far as typing feel.
Gateron Pro Ultra Glory Reds. POK stem peeks through a bit but most of the joy for this switch is in its spring and housing. A well balanced switch with clean sound and chewy feel.
62g 15mm spring swapped cherry clears with mt3 dasher! nice tactiles barring the thicc stem
was using a hybrid type-s earlier, one of my favourite board in terms of typing feel and sound
