This looks great. Did you use a converter for the MX switches ?
yes, fully replaced OEM sliders with Deskeys MX sliders
It’s all about that SLAAAAG!
This one has officially moved from workbench to desk. The low end materials and my inexperience with the laser show, but as a usable and fully bespoke DIY build (including keycap legends) under a hundred bucks, I’m pleased. I plan to try it as my work board, which should also help determine if the dye-sub will hold up.
IT LOOKS TINY! I was so confused as to what board this was. It’s a FRL TKL but the shot makes it look like a 60% Very nifty. Also… cool caps, yo.
Hahaha, it’s a quirky layout and I love it. “HHKB” bottom row with the BS blocker gives it that 60% feel even though it’s FRL TKL. And heck yea—I’m glad I got these X-wing caps during Black Friday, they look great IRL
Well, I was going to build my Mercury65 but I was apparently sent the wrong plate. So I ended up with some lubed stabilizers that needed a spot.
So I build my CSTM80 from Dorp.
What can I say, it’s orange.
HMX Cloud linears. Very smooth and stable. They sound nice, too. The bottom out is really harsh. I don’t know if it’s good or bad, lol. It’s kinda fun. The board sounds good and solid, as you would expect from a fully foamed plastic case.
Sure is orange, . I would prefer something a bit less carrot inspired. Maybe just a touch more red. But it’s fun.
GMK Monkey? If so, it’s a rare sighting indeed.
Yep.
Finally finished my Eclipse build. Originally had SA bliss on it but I find SA VoC suits the lilac better. I’m very happy with this.
Orange is a sure bet.
Both giving off some serious enduring-classic kinda vibes, gorgeous
I’m still partial to Monkey
I put googley eyes on my Big Switch and now he is called Mr Bump
I also put some Big Switch build notes on my blog including some tips on avoiding soldering trouble
