My Black Friday Brutal60 $69 mystery bundle sale came today.
It’s impressive and I am super psyched. I think I got e-white but it’s actually light gray not white at all and I have no boards this shade of gray.
The carrying case is a great touch. The switches and keycaps are ok. The switches I will use eventually. The keycaps will go in the overflow drawer for now
Got my Phantom Rd.2 haul in from NK today! The set is stunning in person! The bad news is though I am now officially out of storage space in my hangout room for both KBs & keycaps. I can probably reorganize everything & condense it down enough to fit, but that’s a multi day task & one I just did not so long ago… Really thinking about just building a shelving system tailored around my KBs, keycaps, & supplies.
Got my Dangkeebs order in (110 MX2A browns & 2 jars of 206g0)! Although they accidently sent me 205g0 so I am currently talking with them to get that mix up fixed. Also got my BSUN Waves & HMX Snow Crash switches in from Unikey! Both have a really good feel in hand & seem super promising to me! The Waves have excellent factory lube & can definitely be used stock. The Snow Crashes on the other hand are a little inconsistent with the factory lube. Seems like they really aired on the side caution by using just a tiny bit of lube on these at the factory to avoid the overlubing issues the first batch had. Unfortunately that led to quite a few in my batch of 120 feeling underlubed. So I’m gonna hand lube these guys for sure.
Also got my latest Mastonon Caps win in today too! Got a Marrow in the OEM colorway which is his first cast of this specific sculpt. It’s basically a FryGuy that you can see his skull through, but I love encaps & know this had to take crazy talent to make!
More of my BF/CM stuff is trickling in. Got my order from Ordinary Labs in today. I grabbed one of their straight flemo cables in black & a bunch of the flex cut stoppers they sell too to see if they can make a board with a flex cut PCB sound any different. I’m really pleased with the cable, super high quality for even the regular price IMO. It might not work with all boards though as the USB C end is pretty chonky even with the way they shaped it. The flex cut stoppers are pretty interesting. I believe they are made specifically for the 65% board they are selling right now, but should work with any PCB that has flex cuts. Theoretically these should be able to give you the best of both worlds, the extra softness/bounciness from flex cuts while not affecting the sound. Will report back after I try them out!
The board is beautiful but not quite the color in renders. This is the “Taupe” option. In the renders it was shown with 9009 and the case was slightly lighter and less saturated than the alphas.
The actual color is slightly darker and more yellow. It’s almost an exact match to Oyster white from HMKB and is the same coLor as GMK Klassiker. It’s pretty, but it won’t look right with beige. Which is unfortunate because the accent nubbins on the back are themed for 9009.
So I’ll be searching for a good keycap colorway to put on this one today. Wish me luck

Looks pretty decent with 9009. Will post photos soon. It sounds quite nice with sea salt smoothies. Typing experince is good and even around the board. 100% needed a force break mod to keep the top from ringing.
Got some more Resin Party caps (Spiral Puff Key & Cow Nope) in today! They’re becoming one of my fav makers quickly! Then got my BF/CM order from Keebfront in today too. Went for more of the PBT bottom goodness with another batch of 110 Bigwigs & a 110 batch of Coleys.

I was so confused because I thought for a second you got the DCS Intro WoB set real early lolol. Then I realized that it’s the older stock DCS WoB set.
I ended up missing out on DCS WoB & Beige intro unfortunately. Thought the GB was running longer than it did. So I figured I’d grab Wob now & hope to grab a extra set of Intro Beige after the GB is concluded.
Ergohaven sent me this Velvet v3. It’s a nice contoured ergo split with keywell, hotswap and Vial-support. Just posted a long and boring review if anybody is interested:
Seen SP was selling some grab bags again last week & decided to grab one for old times sake. I’ve sorted the profiles out, but only went through the DCS caps so far. I got a ton of SA (especially the clear ones, might have enough to make a base set without spacebars there) & DSA, decent amount of DCS, & very little DSS. I added a pic of the coolest DCS caps I found, will update later when I go through the SA, DSA, & DSS caps. I also got my latest Prime Caps W in, it’s a AL Bumen in the NPR colorway I believe he named it. Super cool cap, Frank just kills it with his casting skills!
