These are basically just b stock. I threw the “+” in there to indicate that these are largely on the high end for that classification—and actually many of the ones that Jared b-stocked I would have considered first quality.
Hehe. Those experiments all happened. But, no, if a product doesn’t get far enough for me to think it feasible or worthwhile I usually just toss the prototypes when the project is abandoned, since they’re typically not cosmetically very good. I was working with another group of enthusiasts doing the Topre keycaps project, but I think all the manufacturing difficulties during Covid caused them essentially to give up.

any other pro 3 HG going up soon? just learned that the K2 extras from April may take another month or two to get properly finished - wish i had known sooner - might have pulled the trigger on one of the Enigma, VHS, or Aperture A stocks i was toying with buying last week - meh, c’est la vie
Sorry about that. The whole reason I have to do a sale like this is how extremely unreliable finishing vendors always are, often leaving us with B-stocks or other weird shortfalls. It always leaves us with a massive fractal pile of ever-spiraling complexity and intertwining pushed-back timelines—and occasionally sub-optimal situations like yours. The original K2 vendor for the April batch flaked out on us only recently, one that had previously been doing very good work for us.
At any rate, we’ve got some Pro 3s in Periwinkle coming up, but I think those are the only significant A stocks left. You’re probably just best waiting for your K2 to come back in a first-quality finish.
