If you hadn’t posted the picture I would have had no idea what that color scheme was in reference to. Had they come up with some Castle Greyskull colors I would have instantly recognized that.

This colorway does not remind me of He-Man in the slightest, even trying to play it off calling it the Prince Adam base. I think @pixelpusher hit the nail on the head. This was made for something else, at least I hope so LOL!

70% boards and larger that are available on AliExpress. Solderable.
I have a TKL in the GB phase, but I’d like to build something sooner with a VA68 layout. Or at least a 65% with large shift keys.
People here seem on the up-and-up about what’s out there. Can anyone recommend affordable 70% boards or larger, available on AliExpress and the like? Ideally, something with a soft plate option like polycarb, POM, or even CF.

Don’t quote me cause this is the first time I’ve managed to grab some TX stabs, but I believe they use a regular diameter stab wire so any 6.25 wire you have should work.

Well, these boards I’ve been using would probably not fit what you want… Typically they are hot swap, and don’t really have plate options. It seems like this layout is fairly under-appreciated in the community (I had to search hard to find 10-12 of them), so options for getting alternative plates, plate foam, etc. are pretty non-existent. And, all of them have been post mounted without any mounting alternatives (unless you modded them heavily).
