I haven’t seen that trademark one before—and I’m equally impressed and appalled by the ugliness of it—but it’s all part of percent-encoded (aka URL-encoded) strings that allow Cyrillic, Arabic, and CJK characters in URLs.
If you try copying and pasting part of the URL or modify the URL after pasting, you can see the raw encoding doing the fancy work in the URL:

Fuckin love em. Got them on my kobo filco. I’d get dark red but last time I checked they were out and tkc told me they weren’t planning on restocking. That’s cheap though I’ll get one each
