To add to this guide, I have found that if you take a strip of basic tape (I used Scotch tape because I had it laying around) and a second shorter strip about the length of the flyplate you can make a sort of harness to help hold the flyplate in place on the switch while you work. It makes handling the switches a much less delicate task.
