Having trouble with ISP programming

Hi,
I use a Pro-Micro as ISP Programmer and AVRDudess software.
Recently, I’m unable to detect ATMega32u4; new board or (old) working board, all I got is “Unknown signature”.

I tried this on an AT90USB646 board, and AVRDudess detected the board

I suspect something happen to the driver, maybe Windows update is related.

Has anyone encountered this problem? do you have a solution for this?

I had drivers messed up one time.
Reinstalled the QMK drivers collection and the MCU was correctly recognized again.
Does not hurt to give it a try…
