Five years of Admiral Shark's Keyboards & IBM keyboard content

My website and mission to research, document and write about IBM and family (+ Lexmark, Unicomp, Lenovo & Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions) keyboards turned 5 today! As I have done in previous years, I wrote this as a celebration and reflection:

An overview of what I did through the year and some much-deserved thank yous for everyone who reads or involved in some way. We still have a lot to learn about old keyboards, so my mission is far from over. I hope you stick around!

Hi! Neat Thinkpad you got there! I might have something interesting for you here  The same Thinkpad in a suitcase, together with an integrated needle printer and power supply. Still fully working and - with an external WiFi Card - rocking Puppy Linux.

Pretty slick. Was this a marketed product, or was a sales rep clever with the hot-knife 30 years ago?

Oh never thought about it. Got the whole thing from eBay 20 years ago. Now that you are asking, I can’t find anything. BUT: I saw the same solution (modern Thinkpad, this Samsonite suitcase and a printer) a couple of years ago used by a medical team at a blood donation event. Probably sold by a IT systems reseller.
