Can anyone ID this board?

Saw this posted over in r/mk but the person who posted it hasn’t given any info, so I figured I’d share a picture of it here and see if someone recognizes the model.

Just looks like a Cherry G80-3000, possibly repainted original case or with an Alu replacement case.

I think ventamora is right, it’s a Cherry G80-3000, either with no logo or the logo painted over. Here it is with the logo - the LED area is identical.

Yep the two posts above me are right it’s just a modern Cherry G80-3000. They’re actually pretty nice boards with a little elbow grease & the switches + stabs can be modded without desoldering since they are plateless.

Is there a tutorial for that floating around? I’ve only found videos of people using soldering tools.

Not that I can think of off the top of my head. They’re really easy to mod TBH though. Since they’re plateless you can open the switches while they’re still soldered onto the PCB. Then the stabs can popped right out, lubed, & reinstalled because of that too. Lube & film the switches, swap & lube the springs, lube the stabs, put a piece of shelf liner or any thin foam under the PCB & your in business IME with these boards.

Ah, I misunderstood; I thought you were saying there was a way to replace the switches without desoldering them.

This is what I get for browsing the internet half awake.

Yeah to completely swap the switches you would need to desolder. Although there is alot you can do by swapping the stems, springs, & top housing if you want. So your not tied to whatever Cherry switch the board comes with.
