We are Master of Science students in Design and Product development and for our Master thesis we are writing about the experience of keyboard typing sounds. As part of our research we are collecting descriptive words used for keyboard typing sounds.
If you are interested in helping us out, please send an email to clali224@student.liu.se and I will send you a link to our questionnarie (takes approximately 10 min).
Your answers will be anonymous and only used for academic purposes.
For now we are planning to have workshops in Sweden (where we are based) and Switzerland, where people will get to test different keyboards in real life and rate the sound experience. A part of our research is also to test if an AI model can fulfill the same emotional qualities that a real keyboard does. So if I give an AI model the prompt ”creamy keyboard sound”, does that sound create the same emotions for the user as it does when using a real keyboard? We’ll have to see…
Thank you for your good wishes and hope to hear from you via email!
Thanks, appreciate it! I cant seem to find your email in my inbox though, please double check that you have sent it to the right adress: clali224@student.liu.se
You could also send me your email adress in this thread and I can send it to you!
Your mail address tells me that you study in Linköping.
Even if I’m living in your neighbouring country (Norway), Linköping is a bit far for me for attending the workshop.
Which is a pity, because I think it would be amazing.
I’ll send you an email anyway
Lykke til med forskningen, det blir spennende å høre om resultatene senere!
