Recently discovered & entered the hobby, being somewhat annoyed at current keyboards (including my Macbook); experimenting with split-ortho layouts.

QWERTY touch-typist since 1st year Uni 4 decades ago. Considering learning Colemak given switching to split-otho 40-60% is already a bit disruptive anyway, how much extra disruption could it be?!
