I just held it in place against an aluminum bottom plate, and even though this is a little baby solenoid that runs fine off the 3.3v rail on the Pi Pico… oh yeah. 
I made three hand-wire TKL-likes with aluminum plates, two of them with tactiles. The first tactile build is fine, just not different enough or fun enough to use much, but a proper case with room for a solenoid sounds like just what it needs. It might also be a nice excuse to finally put my SA Mitospeed on something.
