What's on your workbench today?

After the DR-70f issue, I needed a win. So I worked on M0lly last night.

The keys are knock-off GMK Evil Dolch and I wanted these specifically for the dual-legend numpad. I have pre-ordered the real GMK set, mostly to make myself feel better about paying for fakes but also because I love the colorway and I want some shine through indicators. 3mm red LEDs used in the indicator ports. Also wired LEDs in at Caplock and Numlock in hopes of getting those programmed as indicators in the future.

Summary

All the hardware has been swapped out with red anodized aluminum versions.

Silly things that can’t be seen but I know are there, like the red hardware inside the case and the dyed PCB “cotton” (which I can tell you for sure IS NOT cotton because it would not hold dye)

Silly because it does not matter to anyone except me.

Switches are Akko Dracula, spring swapped to 65g.

Typing feels great, the switches have a good solid sound somewhere between clack and thunk. No echo or ping in the case so far. Overall, I’m liking it but we’ll see if it stands up to daily driving.
