That is an absolutely stunning board! Still really regret not getting this board when GB was live.
Love those Grid 600s.

Today I’m doing a overhaul on my dz60.
I’m putting in Tealios and my Ink’s are going to be used in my Quefrency Rev.2.
Update :
So how you liking the Tealios compared the Ink Yellows?
Kind of the same. Maybe cus I put the ink springs in them.
But I do think that the Ink Yellows sounds better.
I’m dreaming of my next keyboard. A 65% ergo board that is more compact than usual ortholinear and symmetrically staggered boards.
Is it possible? Sure, it is. With round keycaps.
Does it work? Hmmm… I never know until I touch my hands on it.
Interesting. What do the tops look like? Are these from one of those weird typewriter keybaords?
The caps look like this:
and, with a stem, like this:
EDIT: They are normal (and cheap) MX compatible keycaps.
Quefrency V2, NK Creams with INVYR stems and 60g springs, purple Durock stabs, XDA keycaps, P3D Carbon Fiber case with neon pink middle layer.
I’m so happy with this build!
Wuut! I didn’t get to choose mid layer!!
- Mine have been in transit since 11aug.
You can reach out to Jake from P3D on discord to request custom options. And then when you order there’s a box for special instructions. In case you make a future order.
Well, I would probably have chosen a color that is outdated today soo… XD
But I’m kind of mad that you already got it when I ordered it before you.
I believe you can put Choc switches closer together than normal switches if you have keycaps small enough to fit. For example, the Planck Lite is half an inch less wide than a regular Planck by doing this.
Baguette for scale.
I see. If this layout proves to be good I’ll definitely invest in purchasing Choc v2 and making custom keycaps for it. However, even with normal MX compatible switches (15.8 mm max in size), with this normal sized ceycap (18 mm in diameter) and with standard key-to-key distance of K = 3/4" = 19.05 mm, the row-to-row and column-to-column distance is only K * 0.5 * sqrt_3 = 16.5 mm, which is worth to try.
I ordered mine exactly three weeks ago. I know Jake had a delay in Quefrency V2 cases due to receiving an older file of the plate layout. But that was corrected. Ping him on discord maybe? I never got a shipment confirmation email. Mine just showed up.
