My Yui660c is on the desk today. I put on the risers and definitely like the angle. Sounds really good once I put in some dampening foam.
Downside is it’s like 15 pounds lol.
I still think that case could look pretty cool with custom artwork up top, I’m just not talented enough to think of what that could be
That’s a great idea. Sadly, I am also not that artistically talented lol. I think some engravings or something would be really neat.
I really like the aesthetics of the negative space on the board. Super clean and spacious.
@sircheddar designs are truly something unique in the community.
I like the simple look, low to zero typing angle, and totally assumed big bezels of it’s boards.
I 100% agree, definitely one of my favorite boards
This is my favorite board, today is its day on the desk.
Norbaforce Royal Wrinkle WKL with Topre Realforce R1 91UG-S (JIS Layout), 56g deskeys domes and Realforce white keycaps.
Two new deskmats and a black Cablemod Pro Straight cable. Trying to decide which I like better.
Design wise, I like the skeleton one, but size and material wise, I like the dragon one.
Hmmmm… thoughts?
Both look good. That pop of red is pretty rad though.
Yeah, I figured it would match the desk. I’m quite fond of it myself. Kinda wish the custom deskmat services were better quality. I might try to commission something.
Sheeeeesh! These setups are out of this world! Very very nice!
I just noticed some GMK potato flakes on the Space80!
When swapping keycaps the other day, I actually witnessed a potato flake that I was trying to remove from a switch stem, slip inside the switch as the stem was slightly depressed. I think this may be grounds for a lawsuit . Class action anyone?
That bottom board is
Aperture Norbaforce for today’s rotation.
Some R3 accent keycaps, pink deskeys domes, plate foam, silenced with purple sliders.
my “try out ortholinear and test the touchbar module” board
- keycaps are KAM Wraith
- touchbar module bought from rgbkb.net
- stainless steel sandwich-like case (plate + bottom piece only)
it gonna take me a long time to get used to ortho typing, I also need to tweak the parameters of the touchbar, the swipe seems very sensitive while the taps are often not registered.
classy indeed
