O_O My heaviest board tops out at 2.67kg (5.88lbs)…and also happens to be the one I just swapped in recently.
Novelkeys NK87 (Comet Blue) with TTC Silent Bluish-Whites, SwagKeys Knight stabs, and a combo of two AF SA sets for the caps. Oh, and a brass plate (because it was on sale and I’d never tried one before).
Not the original idea I had for it, but do really like how the colors came out, and the typing feel is definitely satisfying for me. Also managed to cram in OS detection support, so I can swap between my work Mac and my personal Linux machine without remapping stuff.
(I don’t really notice much difference with the brass vs. Al plate here, but that may be because this keyboard is such a chonk with the solid Al base.)
