It’s a 12 hour drive for me. I don’t know that I like anyone enough to drive for 12 hours.

   Can’t fault you there bud! It’s only like an hour & a half drive for me & I missed the last one so I definitely don’t want to miss it again!

Is it 12 hours one way?

You live in Tennessee or Kentucky? Those both are some loooong states on a E to W drive for sure! Sorry you can’t make it though. These bigger less local & more community wide meetups are superfun!

I live in southwest Tennessee, close to Memphis. Even if I fly it’s like 7 hours with 2 stops. Need high speed rail. Could probably do it in 5-6 hours

I’m on the fence for the meetup every year. It’s 3.5 hours for me…

An ErgoDox ez in white with silent reds and a set of SA Carbon with dark alphas to go on it.

Still happy with my Kinesis Advantages, but curiosity got the best of me. Wanted to try nearly same layout, but without concave keywell and no built in wrist rest.

After all these years in the hobby, I still have silent reds as one of my top two favorite switches…

CRP needs to get on this.

They can use the red and green text colours for mods.

I would love to know what you think about them them.

I ordered a black plate for my Wooting H60. Didn’t even know that was an option, but I need it

Ordered more unlubed Vertex V1. I have 140 of them, enough for two 60% but I really liked them in a TKL. So I ordered 110 more which would be enough to fill rest of the TKL and an extra 60% set.

I didn’t like Vertex V1 at first but, with 205g0, they are golden. I’m using them with 2-stage 58g in a 60% and 3-stage 53g springs in a TKL. Both versions feel as tight as spandex underwear.

Found the board GE Healthcare are using now. The model number KB1430 was on an overpriced eBay listing for one of the new chiclet versions, and that brings up exactly one hit on Amazon, a $30 chiclet board with the exact layout, including oversized bottom row. Value engineering at its finest, LOL.

Ebay can be funny like that since the word is out that there is a community of people who love KBs. Someone finds an old KB with brightly colored keys & think they hit jackpot without looking into our community at all. That I can just ignore & live with, however what really grinds my gears is coming across the listings trying to sell a membrane KB for crazy money & stating that is mechanical.

I see the best use for that listing to be some PA who spilled coffee on the lab’s keeb and doesn’t want to get in trouble. Might actually be a bargain then. It’s a far cry from a Buckling Spring board, though.
