What did you order or think about ordering?

I think they mostly need to refresh the older mold switches, the pack of 110 Durock Blue Lotus I have are excellent tightness housings with great sound. It’s just a shame those are long poles.

I’m thinking really hard about the Cycle 7 from TKD later today. Would be my first FRL

Ordered a Keebmat to try finally.

I ordered a bunch of switches from Crystal Key Store | eBay Stores which brought me up to 2,260 switches in my collection now

That’s quite a lot of switches

Ordered from KeebsForAll some long-pole tactile frankenswitching parts:

  • Gateron KS-3 Milky Yellow Pros
  • Geon Baby Blue Sliders, their shortest long-pole tactile stem
  • some Gateron Baby Kangaroos to use as reference point

Prior experiments using parts I had around to recreate Baby Kangaroos, I concluded that key ingredients are:

  • Gateron Milky bottom housing
  • long-pole tactile stem
  • long string

It’s a fairly large space to explore but that’s how I like it. :cowboy_hat_face:

Molly60 from KeebsForAll. Going for the WK layout in Titanium Grey, with FR4 plate. I think my GMK Nord set might look OK on it. My expectations aren’t too high, but for $99 I’m willing to take the risk! I did splurge for the PVD SS weight upgrade.

Also ordered the Cycle7 from ClickClack. Reef colorway in WK layout. Also included the option for the Vertex V1 switches factory lubed. Not sure what caps I’ll use, but I suppose there is always beige.

$374.27 USD in all. Not too bad for 2 boards, one of which includes stabs and switches.

Ordered 10x Gateron Cream Soda switches to use as dedicated space bar improvers per @donpark’s advice. Excited to try them!

Ordered some plastic North-facing spacers/washers from Upgrade Keyboards along with some 60% foams and O-ring for tray mounts. I do have a stash of metal ones from OLKB but, as @Deadeye pointed out, they don’t sound great sometimes.

Ordered some LEDs from Flashquark to add to the Nightfox as well as some matching aluminum feet (at least I hope they match…)

This board has been quite a fun little surprise. And for $30, I still feel like is my “No Fear” board to experiment with.

Also, a bit of a time machine, I guess…

This week, I’m expecting a carbon fiber plate for the MONOKEI x TGR Tomo to finally be delivered after almost three weeks of the order waiting in line at the laser cutting workshop. That, and Sarokeys Strawberry Wine switches since so many people are recommending these.

Next week, hopefully the Cerakeys v2!

Ordered more Geon sliders: Baby Blue (tactile), Lavender (tactile), and Snow (linear).

I’m finding Baby Blue very handy remedy for boring linear switches.

How’s the tactility of the Baby Blues? In the market for light tactile switches

Baby Blue bump feels rounded in shape, near-top in location, and full range of medium in tactility depending on the spring used. But then my medium could be your light so :man_shrugging:.

IMO it’s $10 well spent if you have linear switches that don’t get much use bc they’re boring. I found Boba LT boring so haven’t really got much use out of them but Baby Blue brought out the housing’s distinct sound, making it a joy to type on.

I’d consider ordering the Spacedock. Would be the most boujie keyboard stand I’d have (and the only one that’s not just cut acrylic or 3d printed bits).

Although truth be told, I don’t even know which keyboard would be worth of the dock.

Sounds promising! I’m looking for something akin to MX Browns, I’ll probably try them since they’re only $10

Phrases like “endgame” are overused. Let’s instead speak of “dock worthy”

Is this that “docking” all the kids are talking about now adays?

Ouch! I just discovered a serious price hike on those Outemu Silent Creams (original colour) that I had lying in my shopping cart for a while.

They went from €28 all of a sudden to €41 for a set of 110.
