Not a great shot, but got around to finishing my Radiance build this morning

  • Brass plate
  • Boba U4s
  • Durock V2 stabs
  • GMK Future Funk

The frosted polycarbonate diffuses the backlighting really nicely

PCB-mounted (oh so lovely!) WKL 60% with spring-swapped SP Star Meteor Whites and GMK Muted.

One of my favorite builds of the year

The case color really pops with those keycaps!

Great shot, great build! Very cold, simple, usable. The icon mods, wkl, 7u, backspace placement, there are a lot of great little details going on here.

Grazi! Yes yes, you totally get it.

Continuing the Frog Mini theme, I’m finally back from my work trip and managed to get this built this morning. I went with:

  • Broken in, L&F MX Blacks
  • Aluminum plate w/ 50A tadpoles
  • ePBT less, but better

I still need to live with it for a few days but so far I’m extremely pleased. The sound is what you’d expect from the combo and relatively subdued volume-wise. The tadpoles provide just a hint of bounce without being mushy. The keycaps still get me though - it’s different in an aesthetically pleasing way that I just love.

Beautiful build. I put a number of sets on mine before I found the one, lol. I started off like you with something classy like Modo Light, Umka, and Shoko. Classy totally worked, but I thought I’d try a pop of warmer colors: enter ePBT Spectrum with all the colors. Again, it looked great, but the board wanted something louder so I gave it Laser. Holy hell do they look good together. I’ve actually been hard pressed to find anything other than a black board that it worked on.

Just rocking a loaner hotswap board right now, trying to decide on what switches to put in a soldered build (most likely with the crazy flex cut had60 that I’ve be hanging on to).

I get that! It took everything in my power to not go the beige route like I always do but I’m glad I didn’t. You’ve got me thinking on a couple points though - I have Laser and Synthwave M170 in the closet and now I want to give both of those a try. I’d love to see what it looks like on yours!

I’ve also got a similar Had60 sitting around that I’ve never been happy with the sound of when paired with a plastic plate. But I have yet to try it with a metal plate so I’m curious how that sounds. Sounds like a future build idea!

For the life of me, I can’t capture the purple properly on camera. It looks pretty close to Mito’s board renders for the Synthwave kit for Laser R2. The electric red/pink accents look particularly good.

The bottom one, indeed. Especially the Katakana keycaps.
Please tell us.

It’s a cool pic. Looks like it was taken underwater. I’m pretty sure it would fit nice as a thumbnail for an Indie track on YouTube.
