As cursed as that is, what bothers me more for some reason is calling the slider a “pusher”. Might be a translation error.

Yeah, almost certainly a translation error – very similar to “pole” and “stem” turning into “axis” that I see frequently.

Kind of stumbled on this, but apparently there are still some Hyper7 R4 units available for purchase. The GB started in October but closes “when all 500 units sell.” Shipping date was slightly delayed but is currently listed as “April/May 2024.”

FYI, the software is a total mess. It would be an awesome board but can recommend it only for those who stick to the default layout and especially don’t want to use layers - which seems to be simply impossible to set up. VIA support is limited, error messages are fired instantly as you try to use ANY layer function, so you can’t access any layers other than the default FN one. It turns out there are 3-4 keys which cannot be remapped at all (undocumented), otherwise the board dies and cannot be updated with VIA anymore. 
I’ve been in talks with mechkeys from where I got mine, but there’s no solution for this at the moment. It seems the product is taken down now. So be careful with purchasing it (from somewhere else). (Don’t get me wrong, once the firmware is fixed, this will be a great offer.)

When they released this model it was “Alice”
THEN the product page was on their old official store where there were previously sales of “sugar65”. But in a couple of days. This taobao store has been deleted))))
They opened a new store on Taobao.
But since I bought it on the first day, my product was from a store that had been removed.
Yes it looked like a scam)
But they sent everything away. As you can see from my photos and videos.
So I don’t have an offline store. Yes, and it seems to me that the deletion of the store may happen again.

Some new gateron offerings. The pro glory in both red (45g) and yellow (50g). Recolor of smoothies in blue (sea salt smoothie). A “Mars” switch and a new tactile called “weightlessness”.
A few others I’ve never tried as well. Cool that Gateron is keeping up with the fast growing market

I see on prototypist discord that GMK Rubrehose starts preorder tomorrow. I haven’t seen anything about it. Im assuming it’s going to be similar to DCS Deadbeats?
Ordering a base kit gets you a spot to join for a matching Jane or Kohaku later on.

Wow, I don’t keep up too much on the high-end stuff but aren’t Jane’s still highly coveted TKLs? Seems like people will be signing up in droves just to get a Jane spot

Yes both boards are highly coveted at the moment. I don’t even know what it gets you. I don’t know if you only get a spot in a raffle or what. That’s why I was seeing if anyone else knows.

Those “limited” glorious sets dropped for early access today.
They are interesting and kinda cool. Sadly, there is no compatibility with 7u layouts. That makes it a no go for me
