Interesting Finds & Heads-Ups

Didn’t you swear off KBDfans after you had to pay a ton to ship back your Epoch 80 or did I imagine that? I’ve been here too long lol.

I still use the MK2 daily. Nice to see MK3 is using a daughterboard PCB, but a bit sad it’s not compatible with MK2 as I wont be ever able to refresh that one…

You are correct. Although I bought a keycap set from them a while back. Also, I bought a tiger lite from Divinikey last year, so I guess that is technically a KBDFans product, although not from them directly. Maybe Divinikey will also sell these boards.

KBDcraft (maker of the LEGO Adam keyboard among others) has a new 60% “Lilith” model with a 5.5 degree typing angle available for pre-order.

The base model is available in ANSI and ISO, with a full kit ISO available for order on October 1. It appears to be compatible with the Adam’s plate and PCB, but the Lilith case is not available as a standalone purchase… yet.

@ListlessLlama What is the idea behind that orange knob on the side of the Lego keyboard?

From the manual, looks like it’s to be able to more easily add LEGO figures, which is a cool idea because on my Adam adding any figures did disrupt how easily usable some keys were.

Yep, exactly.

I had to move my minifig to the right because I kept knocking it off when I went to hit escape. Seems okay on the backspace for me though. I like the new design a lot. I’ll probably buy one once it’s in-stock.

This ebay seller has some OG Cherry boards for sale. They’re pricey & ship from Germany, but look to be very very clean. Speedhelp Shop | eBay Stores
I ended up grabbing a Peacock branded G81-3004 HAD/05 for the case & those sweet sweet OG doubleshots. It’s ISO QWERTZ, but combined with the 1800 set of OG double shots I have I should be able to cover a good spread of layouts with them!

Heckin’ CHEAP

They don’t claim to be amazing, but they do claim to be amazing for the price - and with Krytox from the factory on a fifteen-cent switch, maybe so.
